School Governor Network - one week to launch

The launch of the University's School Governor Network is just one week away.  If you are interested in helping the community, driving school improvement and learning new skills why not come along?

The Secretary of State for Education and Loughborough’s MP, Nicky Morgan will join the Vice Chancellor, Professor Robert Allison to launch the network.

The lunchtime session will take place on Friday 20 March, 12-1.00pm in LDS.0.17, Loughborough Design School.  It is an opportunity to find out:

  • What school governors do an the decisions they make
  • The personal development opportunities and free training available
  • The opportunities available locally
  • How the University will support you in the role
