Launch of School Governor Network

Secretary of State for Education and Loughborough’s MP Nicky Morgan has joined Vice Chancellor Professor Robert Allison in launching the University’s School Governor Network.

On Friday 20 March, members of staff interested in helping the community and driving school improvement were invited to attend a lunchtime session at the University.

The session provided key information on the role of school governors, the free training and personal development opportunities available and how the University intend to offer support to individuals who are interested in volunteering.

If you missed the event but are interested in becoming a governor, please contact schoolgovernors@lboro.ac.uk for more information.
