Staff might be interested by the following updates from the Sustainability team.
As agreed in the 2012-15 Car Park Management Strategy (CPMS), permit prices are due to rise by 2% in line with the previous year’s pay award.
If you currently have an annual permit and do not wish to renew it for the forthcoming year, you will need to cancel your permit by 31 July 2015. To apply to change the type of permit from an occasional to an annual or to cancel your permit, go to the University’s ParkIT website. For more information, please click the link below.
Since the end of the Summer term, the University has been working in partnership with The British Heart Foundation for the annual Big Clear Out encouraging students to recycle their unwanted items.
Over the years, universities have generated over £1.5m from items sold in local British Heart Foundation shops. So far, our 2015 campaign has recorded a total of 950 bags which have been donated to the BHF.
