December Sustainability Newsletter available to view now

Staff might be interested in the following updates from the Sustainability team.

With the end of term fast approaching, the December newsletter focuses on how staff can have a more sustainable Christmas.

In 2014, the University spent £45,600 on base load power during the 10 day break, excluding any additional electricity used. While this was a substantial reduction compared to normal consumption, staff are still urged to switch off this Christmas to help save even more. With new facilities now in operation across the University, it is more important than ever to switch off where possible.

This month’s newsletter is also packed with other ideas to help you make better decisions this Christmas including tips on shopping sensibly and homemade crafts.
