Academic wins Emerald Award for paper on libraries

Valerie Spezi, School of Business and Economics and a member of the Centre for Information Management (CIM), has been awarded a 2015 Outstanding Paper Award.

Spezi’s paper entitled 'Working together: Library value at the University of Nottingham', was presented the award by the Emerald Literati Network under the Performance Measurement and Metrics category.

The purpose of the paper is to bring together the findings of two studies investigating the value of academic libraries to teaching and research staff in higher education institutions. The Working Together (WT) project was an international study, funded by SAGE Publishing, investigating the value of academic libraries for teaching and research staff in the USA, UK and Scandinavia.
