Thinking Digital on a mission to identify the UK’s Emerging Talents

Young innovators and entrepreneurs invited to apply for free places at world-class forum

Creative and innovative young thinkers and entrepreneurs are being offered the opportunity to attend the UK’s premier digital and technology event free of charge as honoured guests of Thinking Digital.

A minimum of 25 places are being provided for successful applicants to the Emerging Talent Fund as part of the 2015 Thinking Digital Conference, which takes place at Sage Gateshead from May 19-21.

Now in its eighth year, the event is the UK’s leading forum to discover and discuss the latest advances in technology, science, media, business and the arts and their potential impacts.

The Emerging Talent Fund team wants to hear from the cream of new talent from around the UK. To be eligible to apply, you must be aged 30 or under, and be able to make your case to the Thinking Digital panel of judges that you’ve got the right stuff to make the most of the new ideas and networking opportunities that attending the event will create.

The entries will be assessed by a judging team made up of representatives from Thinking Digital and partners, including Leighton. The successful applicants will receive a pass free of charge to the events and workshops, and a limited number of travel and accommodation bursaries will also be available for successful applicants from outside the North East.

Attendance at Thinking Digital will give young entrepreneurs, innovators & techies the chance to connect with other Emerging Talents, share ideas and inspiration and build new relationships. Selected introductions to career opportunities will also be made available to Emerging Talents as appropriate.

Two days of world-class speakers will excite new ideas and there is a choice of workshops to attend including an introduction to virtual reality, 3D printing demystified, increasing your personal impact and interactive film-making.
