Applications for Summer of Student Innovation competition now open

If you have an idea that uses technology to improve education, research or student life, you could win grant funding to help develop your project.

The Summer of Student Innovation competition, led by Jisc, offers students the chance to create solutions that could change the education landscape.

Funding 20 projects last year, Jisc continues to work with six projects, helping them to develop and explore the possibility of offering their ideas as a shared service for the sector.

The funding will help to develop ideas into apps and tools, support successful products to be piloted by universities, colleges and learning providers, and promote all ideas to other interested parties through sustainable routes.

All applications should be submitted through the Elevator site where you will find full details, terms and conditions. The closing date for all applications is Monday 18 May and successful entrants will be announced in June.
