Guest lecture from Lord Robert Winston

Lord Robert Winston will be guest lecturing and answering your questions next week.

The lecture, entitled ‘Politics, Science and Government. How should we make wise decisions?’, will be held in the James France Building, CC.012, on 5 May at 2.15pm.

The lecture has been organised by East Midlands Labour and the talk will be followed by a Q&A session where Sir Robert will be joined by representatives of East Midland Labour students, Michael Rubin and Katrina Goddard.

Lord Winston is Professor of Science and Society and Emeritus Professor of Fertility Studies at Imperial College London. He was awarded an honorary degree from Loughborough University in 2011 for his outstanding contribution to science. His extensive work in human reproduction and the early stages of pregnancy has resulted in over 300 scientific publications.

This is a free event and both staff and students are welcome to attend.
