Dean of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering appointed

Professor Paul Conway has been appointed as Dean of the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering.

Paul is a Loughborough University MSc graduate. After a brief spell working in industry, he returned to the University in 1989 as a Research Assistant and by 2005 had been made Professor of Manufacturing Processes.

Paul was appointed Associate Dean for Enterprise in the Wolfson School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering in 2012 and has been Acting Dean of the School since October 2014.

He is also Director of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Embedded Intelligence and the EPSRC Innovative Electronics Manufacturing Research Centre, both of which are based at Loughborough.
