Official launch of Centre for Academic Practice

The Centre for Academic Practice will be officially launched on 3 October.

The Centre, formerly the Teaching Centre, is for academic staff and others who support learning, and offers a range of services, including the design and delivery of nationally accredited postgraduate courses.

The Centre will be holding a launch event from 10am to 12 noon on 3 October to enable staff to:

  • Learn about the University’s new Continued Professional Development  framework
  • Find out how the Centre can help staff develop their academic practice and support their career aspirations
  • Meet colleagues who have worked with the Centre to enhance their practice
  • Discover how the Centre supports researcher development
  • Find out how staff can apply for funding for a teaching related project
  • Explore the range of resources staff can access

The official opening will be led at 11am by Professor Morag Bell, Pro Vice Chancellor (Teaching).
