Memorial event for Dr Ann O’Brien
A memorial event (secular) for our colleague Dr Ann O’Brien, who died suddenly in May, will be held in the afternoon of Friday 17 October at Loughborough University.
Former students, colleagues and friends will pay personal tributes to Ann and acknowledge her contribution to librarianship and information science and professional practice.
Ann was a committed teacher and a willing source of advice and support for students and colleagues. We have had many messages of sympathy and expressions of happy memories of working with Ann from colleagues and students all over the world.
A book of remembrance is being compiled for Ann. If you would like contribute a few lines to it please email Graham Matthews
