Want to learn a foreign language?

If you’ve ever fancied learning a foreign language, then why not sign up for the University’s Extra-Curricular Languages Programme?

Classes are offered in a range of languages: Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German, Italian, Japanese, Russian and Spanish at various levels.

Most classes are two hours a week for 20 weeks.

Three new short courses, which run for 90 minutes for five weeks and are taught in English, have also been introduced this year:

  • Introduction to Arabic literature
  • Introduction to Chinese culture, and
  • Introduction to Italian culture.

Most classes run in the evening and are open to students, staff, alumni, campus partners and members of the public.

All courses commence week beginning 6 October 2014.
