Advice about the Ebola virus disease
There has been significant coverage in the media recently about the Ebola virus disease.
Public Health England (PHE) has assessed the risk to the UK to be very low.
The University is following the advice to higher and further education institutions supplied by PHE.
A fact sheet on the Ebola virus – which includes information about the symptoms – is available on the NHS website.
If you are planning to travel abroad, particularly to one of the high risk countries, please ensure you read the University’s procedures for overseas travel well in advance.
