Support during exam time

To help you with your exam preparations, the University and Students’ Union have a range of facilities available to support you.

Places to study

The Library will be open 24/7 from Thursday 22 May. Full details of the opening hours and facilities available are on the Library website. Keep an eye on their, their Facebook page, and on Twitter – @lbinfo – for all the latest information

If the Library’s getting full, remember there are other places around campus where you can study.

Computer labs and specialist software

If you need computer facilities, there are a number of PC labs across campus that are open to everyone. Find out where the labs are at Lab Location and use the live Availability site to see whether there are currently computers free for you to use.

Your School will also have computers that you’ll be able to use – go to Lab Contacts for a list.

If you need to use specialist software for your course, the IT Services website has an alphabetical list of what’s available and where.

Personal support

There are lots of people on hand at the University and Students' Union who can help if you feel you need some guidance throughout the exams.

The University’s Student Services section offers a range of support – go to their website for details of how they can help.

The Students’ Union will also be running its Keep Calm During Your Exams campaign again to offer tips and support to help you get through your coursework and exams this summer and to advise you on how to avoid academic misconduct.
