IT Matt gets gold for online learning delivery

IT Services’ Matt Cook has won gold for Live Online Learning Facilitator of the Year at the recent Learning Awards 2014.

Matt, who is Head of Infrastructure and Middleware in the University’s IT Services team, was recognised for the work he has undertaken within the Janet Training team.

As part of an external training contract between Loughborough and Janet - provider of the Janet network which connects UK educational institutions and has over 18 million end-users - Matt has helped to build a large portfolio of training courses, including a series of live online courses which were launched last year.

The Learning Awards are organised by the LPI (Learning and Performance Institute) and recognise outstanding examples of high standards, best practice, innovation and excellence within the Learning & Development industry.
