Open air theatre performed by students from the Department of English and Drama will be returning to Queen’s Park, Loughborough later this month.

The students will be performing the comedy Charley’s Aunt by Brandon Thomas on Friday 20 June, following the success of a performance last year of Noel Coward’s Private Lives.

The performance is part of the Fabulous Friday’s campaign by Love Loughborough which is organised by Loughborough BID (Business Improvement District) in association with Charnwood Borough Council.  The campaign is aimed at drawing more people into Loughborough after work.

Those attending are encouraged to bring picnics and their own blankets or seating.  Free parking will be available in Granby Street car park from 3pm, courtesy of Love Loughborough.  The Queen’s Park Cafe will also be opening on the evening of the show to provide refreshments.

Tickets can be purchased from Loughborough Town Hall Box Office, priced at £5.
