Design School students to take part in New Designers exhibition

Tea maker

A tea-maker that doesn’t need tap water and a device that turns insects into palatable protein are among 16 inventions by final year students in the Design School which will be showcased at New Designers in London next month.

The 16 projects were chosen from the work of 105 students whose inventions were showcased at the Design School’s annual degree show, held on campus from 13 to 17 June.

New Designers is the UK’s most important graduate design exhibition and is a fantastic advert for the students and the Design School. Participation often leads to job offers and collaboration with industry, and boosts undergraduate recruitment.
