Help our researchers develop the first ever Hydration Index

Scientists from the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences (SSEHS) are developing an index to identify which drinks provide the most hydration, and they’re looking for volunteers to help them with their research.

The SSEHS team will test a range of drinks including water, milk, orange juice, tea, coffee, regular and diet fizzy drinks, sports drinks, and lager.

The researchers are looking for healthy males aged 18 to 35 to take part in the study. Volunteers will have to go into the labs on five separate occasions, with each visit lasting up to five hours.
