Students claim BUCS success for 34th consecutive year

Loughborough Students have won the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) overall trophy for the 34th successive year.
Loughborough amassed a total of 5329 points, over 1700 more than second placed challenger Durham University, to claim the overall title.
Athletic Union President Jennie Cooper collected the Kerslake Trophy at the annual awards dinner, held at Swansea University.
In accepting the trophy Jennie congratulated the members of the Athletic Union members:
“This trophy represents the 4000+ strong membership that is our Athletic Union. This year has been a pleasure and honour, you’ve smashed it and your achievements are nothing short of incredible.”
