Professor Yeadon receives Jim Hay Award for biomechanics research

Professor Fred Yeadon (pictured right) from Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences has received the Jim Hay Memorial Award for Research in Sport and Exercise Biomechanics from the American Society of Biomechanics.

The award was presented at the World Congress of Biomechanics, held in Boston, USA, by John Challis, the current Past-President of the American Society of Biomechanics.

The Hay Award selection is based on originality, quality and depth of the research and the relevance of this work to the field of Sports and Exercise Biomechanics. There are currently only 11 award holders worldwide.
