Countdown is on to winter woolly world record attempt

There are just a few days left to dig out your Christmas jumpers for the winter woolly world record fundraising event on campus next week.

The event – which is being held as part of the national Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day fundraiser – will take place on Wednesday 10 December from 12.30pm at the newly landscaped Shirley Pearce Square, in front of Martin Hall.

There’ll be a Christmas farmers’ market and music to keep everyone entertained. And if you don’t have chance to get a Christmas jumper before the event, you can buy one on the day at the University, with a proportion of the cost going to Save the Children.

Pre-registration for the event isn’t required, but if you let us have your contact details at www.lboro.ac.uk/news-events/events/jumpers/ we can keep you informed about the day.

Tell all your family and friends, and don’t forget to tweet pictures of you and your friends in your Christmas woollies with the hashtags #xmasjumperday #LboroXmas
