Deadline approaches for The Telegraph STEM Awards
There’s just one week left to enter The Telegraph’s first-ever STEM Awards.
If you’re studying for an undergraduate degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics-related subject – collectively known as STEM subjects – the STEM Awards are an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge, skills and creativity and show how you would change the world for the better.
You’re asked to provide a solution to a challenge in one of the following industry areas – defence, automotive, pharmaceuticals, environment or construction. A panel of expert judges will award points for innovation, financial viability and the idea's benefit to society and the environment.
The overall winner, whether it's an individual or a team, will receive £25,000 and a bespoke mentoring programme from a senior engineer within Babcock International Group.
Entrants and their universities will be showcased in The Telegraph’s special STEM supplement and on a dedicated STEM Awards channel of The Telegraph website.
The deadline for entries is 27 April 2014.
The winner will be announced on 9 June, as part of national Universities Week.
