Plethora of prizes for School of the Arts students
Students from the School of the Arts are celebrating after dominating one of the categories in the annual Bradford Textile Society Design Competition.
The students picked up not only the three top prizes but also three of the four commendations in the ‘Clothworker’s Foundation Award, for a Woven Fabric for Mens or Womenswear, including accessories’.
Kelly Salter won the first prize, which earned her £400, followed by Lauren Hart (£250) and Charlotte Watson (£150).
Receiving commendations were Emily Daniels, Josey Olley and Alice Thompson.
School of the Arts students won two other categories and, in total, picked up six prizes and 12 commendations.
