Current Loughborough MCCU players Natalie Sciver, Amy Jones, Anya Shrubsole and Rebecca Grundy have helped England Women to qualify for the World Twenty20 final.

The team, which also includes former players Tammy Beaumont and Lydia Greenway, defeated South Africa by 9 wickets.

University psychology student Anya Shrubsole continued her rich vein of form, claiming two wickets in her first two overs to put England on top.

Spin bowler Rebecca Grundy also took two wickets, and Natalie Sciver claimed one, as South Africa were bowled out for 101.

England reached the winning total with four overs to spare to set up a meeting with Australia in the final on Sunday.
