To ensure information and advice to departments about purchasing is aligned with University strategy and policy and with requirements for supported desktop platforms.
To obtain best value for money for Loughborough University in specified IT purchasing activities in the light of total cost of ownership.
To assist staff having varied levels of IT knowledge to make successful IT purchasing decisions.
