Undergraduate placements
Most of our departments operate placements for our undergraduate students and organise collaborative student projects with organisations to mutual benefit. With a solid foundation from two years of a degree study, an enquiring mind and plenty of enthusiasm, our high calibre students will bring fresh ideas to your organisation. Their progress is monitored by a University tutor, enabling you to build a great relationship with our academics in a directly relevant area of expertise.
Many organisations view the placement as a year-long interview and many students make such an impression that they are offered a permanent job on graduation. Placements have a huge motivational effect on students - grades and degree classifications improve and the students are more likely to seek graduate positions.
