In today's competitive job market, Loughborough graduates consistently stand out as having gained both a quality degree and a range of employability skills through work experience, voluntary and enterprise activities which encourage personal development.
The Glendonbrook Centre for Enterprise Education provides a dedicated resource to ensure enterprise is formally embedded in all our degree programmes whilst the Loughborough Employability Award formally recognises students' achievements in extracurricular activities.
Many students and graduates start up their own business ventures whilst studying or once they graduate. They are supported by a dedicated Student Enterprise Manager, inspirational talks by entrepreneurs and funding opportunities including our Annual Business Plan Competition. A number of our graduates have established new ventures in the Innovation Centre on our Science and Enterprise Park, whilst The Studio combines professional workspace and the resources and knowledge from across the University to help our creative graduates develop sustainable businesses.
