Mollie Kilpatrick - IBM

BSc Mathematics and Management

Mollie joined IBM as a Research Consultant, supporting the company’s Workforce Science and Analytics division which delivers HR solutions for its clients.

She worked directly with some of the company’s major clients to enhance their employee engagement and productivity.

As part of her work, she learned R coding to aid her statistical analysis. Having become a competent user, she shared this learning, running training sessions for colleagues and as part of the Girls Who Code initiative.

She also led a team in IBM’s GameOn! competition, creating an app to support the induction of new IBM staff. The team’s app was well received by the Computer Vision and Augmented Reality team at IBM Hursley Park, and has attracted the interest of an IBM client.

When a team member moved on, Mollie stepped up, working at a senior level as a Client Consultant – delivering an outstanding service to the client.

Mollie’s IBM supervisor describes her as “exceptional”, and nominated her for the Women of the Future Rising Star Award 2017 for her contribution to the company and commitment to its community Give Back scheme.

Mollie has accepted a graduate role with IBM as a Financial Consultant.
