Here at Loughborough, we’re really proud of our enterprising students and graduates.

Whether they’re starting their own business or launching new initiatives that benefit a local or an international community, the University is committed to helping them succeed.

In today’s competitive job market, entrepreneurial behaviour makes our graduates stand out from the crowd. The University’s Glendonbrook Centre for Enterprise Education encourages all students to develop enterprising and innovative skills through formal modules and extra-curricular activity. Our entrepreneurship and small business planning modules are increasingly popular as more students look at self-employment when they graduate.   There’s also plenty of enterprising extra-curricular activities on offer including
Think BIG, our annual business plan competition, regular forums and workshops and support for
Social Enterprise.

The Studio provides a dynamic and highly supportive environment for our new graduates taking their first steps in business. Every year, we select graduates that will really benefit from professional office space, access to the University’s specialist facilities, mentoring and a business support programme that’s tailored to their needs.

There’s a real buzz about enterprise amongst our student and graduate community. This website features just a small selection of our hundreds of enterprising students and graduates. We hope you enjoy reading their inspirational stories.
