TBAT director Matt Symonds turned to Graduate Gateway Scheme to find a graduate to work alongside the existing team, bringing a fresh approach while simultaneously learning from more experienced colleagues.
"One of the most attractive things is that the graduate brings new ideas with them. Because they are young and relatively untainted by previous work experience, they are able to take a fresh look at what we are doing. I have been very impressed with the way James has put his own ideas into the ring," said Matt.

Impact
- During his placement, James helped several clients with grant applications and researched and wrote a 50-page market assessment report for another client company.
- After completing the six month placement, James was offered a permanent contract.
