IMCRC 2009 Networking Event - 26 November

Organised to to create an environment for knowledge sharing, networking and discussion of research ideas, the event attracted over 100 guests from industry, academia, the EPSRC and Senior Loughbrough University personnel.

The event commenced with an exhibition of IMCRC research projects and recent innovations. A forum then took place with guest speakers from BAA, Komatsu Europe International, Pera International and the EPSRC, discussing the research needs of the manufacturing and construction industries in the current and future economic landscapes. The evening was completed with dinner and awards presented to Loughborough Students for their success in the IMCRC supported ENUSRE (Summer Undergraduate Research Experience scheme).
