IMCRC Researchers July Seminar - Summary

Thank you to everyone who attended the July Seminar. Steve Harre-Young and Mike Vasquez presented their experiences of research trips funded by the IMCRC. Steve was awarded IMCRC Overseas Study Scheme funding to present at an international conference and conduct interviews and focus groups in New York City. Mike utilised IMCRC Industrial Placement funding to inform his PhD research at Burton Snowboards (Vermont, USA); gaining practical, first-hand experience of the issues his work is examining.

September meeting

Dr Richard Buswell (Principal Investigator) on one of the most exciting and potentially revolutionary research projects around, will be discussing the project to date and answering your questions. 'Concrete Printing' is an innovative construction process which adapted Additive Manufacturing (AM) processes in order to manufacture full scale building components including functional and structural integration.
