Our annual two-day engineering experience event will take place on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th March 2010.
Open to year 12 (lower sixth form) students, the event, which costs £45 to take part (to cover meals and accommodation), gives you an insight into what it would be like to study engineering at university.
Places are limited so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
What you will do
- Visit four different engineering departments
- Learn about different engineering options
- Talk to lecturers and tutors about engineering courses
- Experience student accommodation

Getting to Loughborough
Loughborough is conveniently situated in the heart of England between Nottingham and Leicester.
For those travelling by train we will be running a shuttle bus service from Loughborough railway station 10.00am-12.00pm on the Monday and for the return journey to the railway station 12.30pm-2.00pm on the Tuesday.
Accommodation and meals
You will be staying on campus in the University's Royce Hall of Residence . All rooms will be single rooms with a wash basin. Special dietary requirements can be catered for, please indicate your needs on the booking form. Further details will be sent to you following receipt of your application and cheque.
