Lecturers are knowledgeable and passionate about their subjects. They also make classes interesting and engaging.

I liked the Advanced Sport Management module in my final year, as the lecturer was enthusiastic and entertaining. We watched videos and had interesting coursework topics. It felt great learning something while at the same time enjoying it.

What support have you had from the department?

I have had support from my personal tutor who helped me get through the difficult times like when I first came over feeling lost and uncomfortable in a new environment.

I go for my classes in the morning, have lunch with a couple of friends during the break and then go for the evening classes. Thereafter I head to the HIPAC (Indoor track) for pole vaulting training or conditioning.

What do you hope to do when you graduate?

I am still exploring my options for a sport industry career but everything I’ve learnt in Loughborough University will provide a good head start for a bright future in the sport industry.

Sport Science with Management is the way to go if you’re unsure of what you want to go into (business or sport), or simply if you would like the best of both worlds.

Being part of a prestigious university with the most amazing sport facilities.
