FAQs
Q. What were the monitoring and evaluation requirements for individual projects?
The Loughborough Partnership's main evaluation tools for the collection of data from across the UK were the baseline and annual surveys of projects. More information on surveys is available here.
Projects were encouraged, but not formally required, to conduct their own self-evaluation. This enabled projects to :-
- Collect evidence on the effectiveness and impact of their project
- Identify ways to improve their project
- Influence policy makers to ensure future funding and sustainability
- Celebrate the achievements of their project!
The baseline and annual survey were closely linked to the support offered for self-evaluation. Completion of the baseline and annual surveys allowed projects to measure and record the impact of their new facilities. More information regarding self-evaluation is available here.
The Fund conducted their own monitoring of all projects.
