School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences

PhD Students in the Institute of Sport and Leisure Policy and the Centre for Olympic Studies and Research (COS&R)

Researcher in library

The Institute and the Centre form part of a very active research culture within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences. The two entities cooperate in the design and delivery of research training for PhD students, given their overlapping concerns with Olympic policy and management.

The fostering and supervision of PhD research students is an integral part of the research culture within the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences. PhD studies are generally grouped under the Institute's two major research themes, and the COS&R focus on Olympic research.
