Mark graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with a BSc Sport and Exercise Science in 2013. He then moved to Loughborough University to pursue his interests, graduating with an MSc Sport and Exercise Nutrition in 2014.  After graduating Mark worked as a Research Assistant in Human Nutrition at Loughborough University and as an applied practitioner with England Cricket and Leicester City Football Club before beginning his PhD.

Mark’s PhD focuses on the appetite and metabolic effects of diet and exercise interventions and he is supervised by Dr. Lewis James along with Dr. Carl Hulston and Dr. Stephen Mears.
