Katy started at Loughborough University in October 2013 after completing a first class undergraduate degree in Sport Science and then a Masters in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Both were achieved at Liverpool John Moores University. In Katy's spare time she is a keen marathon runner and martial artist.
A multidisciplinary approach to tailoring physical activity interventions for children
Katy's PhD focusses on identifying different variables across a social ecological model that affect physical activity levels of early adolescents, aged 11-13 years. Her main PhD study is an 18 month longitudinal study based within schools local to Loughborough.
