Kate completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology (B.Sc.) in 2011 at the University of Sheffield, and went on to complete her M.Sc. in Health Psychology at Aston University. After working for two years as a Research Assistant in Psychology at the University College London and Kings College London, Kate began her PhD in 2015, under the supervision of Dr Chris Spray.
The current research project investigates the role of stressors in national curriculum Physical Education (PE) lessons in secondary school students. The project aims to develop a standardised measure of stressors in PE and examine how the experience of stressors impacts motivation and engagement during lessons.
