Giorgos graduated from the University of Athens in 2014 with a BSc in Physics, specialising in astrophysics. In 2016, he gained his MSc in Sports Biomechanics with merit from Robert Gordon University. In October 2016, he started his PhD in Loughborough University, focusing on the understanding of Achilles tendon and calf muscle mechanics in dynamic movements.
