Amy graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2013, before working at University College Hospital London where she managed the day to-day activities of the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing department. Amy then worked as a laboratory technician at the Institute of Sport, Exercise and Health for 18 months, whilst continuing with her clinical testing.  

Amy’s PhD is part-funded by University Hospital Leicester NHS Trust and the National Centre for Sport and Exercise Medicine. Amy is researching a generic breathlessness rehabilitation programme for adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and Chronic Heart Failure.
