Coca-Cola GB general manager to talk to students on CSR

Jon Woods, the General Manager of Coca-Cola Great Britain and Northern Ireland, will be delivering a lecture at Loughborough University on Friday 7th February 2014.

Mr Woods, a business and finance graduate of the university, will be talking about "Global Brands and Corporate Social Responsibility" at the event and students are invited to attend.

Belfast-born Woods worked for Cadbury-Schweppes before joining Coca-Cola, so his insights into how major international companies operate come direct from his experiences with two of the biggest and most recognisable global brands.

The lecture will be of particular appeal to students interested in the issue of Corporate Social Responsibility, particularly those currently studying Sport Management (or Sport Science with Management) at undergraduate or postgraduate level, as the Coca-Cola product line includes sport and energy drinks.  However, all students are welcome.

To register to attend, students should email S.E.Thomas@lboro.ac.uk.  Space is limited so booking is essential and will be on a first come, first served basis.

The lecture will take place in: Lecture Theatre HE.0.10 in the Clyde Williams building.
