Current research
My research is based on analysing telephone interactions between mothers and their young-adult daughters. The focus of my analysis is on the social organisation of advice within interaction, using the methods of Conversation Analysis and Discursive Psychology. I am also interested in how relationality is made relevant within the interactions for the recipients.

Research interests
Discursive Psychology, Conversation Analysis, the social organisation of advice, family interaction, the study of relationships in interaction, the social organisation of laughter.
