Current Research:
My research involves analysing naturally occurring interactions within bars, with a particular interest in the service interaction between customer and the bartender. I am analysing video recordings using Conversation Analysis and Membership Category Analysis to explore how these interactions are sequentially organised and what ‘category’ work is being done within them.
Research Interests:
Conversation Analysis, Discursive Psychology, Customer Service Interactions, Payment Sequences.
