TRACEY invites artists, designers, students, educators and researchers to respond. Responses may take the form of drawings or other visual material (with or without accompanying text) or previously unpublished articles or research papers. There's no limit on the number of images or the length of text, though all contributions are subject to editorial control.
For guidance on preparing a submission, see below: 'guidelines for written submissions' and 'how to submit'.
Responses are requested under our list of research themes. Every twelve months we focus on a particular research theme with a specific call for contributions.
However, all themes are open for contributions at any time.
We are also interested in seeing sketchbooks and visual notebooks from anyone who uses drawing as a way of collecting information, working out ideas or solving problems, so that we can advance the notion of drawing as a form of 'visual thinking'.
Your found drawings are of particular interest to us. They may be by-products of other processes, organic forms or discarded materials - images arising by accident rather than from any conscious process. All striking or unusual finds should be sent immediately to TRACEY.
For written submissions (articles, academic papers, reviews), with or without illustrations, contributors are expected to use the template provided which can be downloaded here.
