In the Department of Social Sciences we offer a rich variety of taught postgraduate masters programmes in Media, Communication and culture. The courses are delivered by an internationally renowned interdisciplinary team, through the use of contemporary case studies and research-informed applied teaching and learning.
The courses provide training in media, communications, digital culture, sociological, anthropological, theory, as well as quantitative and qualitative methods. They prepare our graduates for future careers in broadcast media, journalism, online media, public relations, advertising, marketing, and publishing as well as providing an excellent platform for those who wish to go on to further academic study.
