What is your name and degree?

My name is Nina Fozzard and my degree is MSc International Management.

Why did you choose your course at Loughborough University?

I chose my degree at Loughborough because I knew the University had a good reputation, it was good for sport and it seemed like a really fun place to come and join.

I also did my undergraduate degree at Loughborough, I studied International Relations and didn’t really want to leave! There was a really good atmosphere here, sports were good and the course was really great, so I thought I’d try something similar but a bit different.

What has been the highlight of the programme so far?

My favourite thing so far on this programme has been meeting people from different nationalities and different cultures. My favourite modules have been International Marketing and Accounting and Finance – they're a bit different from one another, but I feel like they give a better insight into the world and they’ve been interesting to learn about.

How do you think you’ve developed your employability at Loughborough?

I think I’ve developed my employability by doing a lot of group coursework. I feel like it’s taught me how to work in teams and respect people’s differences and try to find the best way to work with them. It’s taught me how to deal with deadlines and stress, and how to juggle with a lot of different things at once.

What would you say to someone considering studying your course at Loughborough?

I would say to someone who wanted to do this course, definitely take the opportunity to do it! I definitely think it’s worth it and I would have been gutted if I didn’t do it. You learn so much about yourself as well as your course and I really think it will be something I’ll look back on and remember highly.
