Umut is a PhD student affiliated to the Microeconomics, Industrial Organisation and Trade research group.

His research mainly focuses on firm level heterogeneous productivity and international strategy of firms. Before joining School of Business and Economics in January 2013, he completed his MSc in Economics at the University of Manchester in September 2010, and then initially started his PhD at the University of York in October 2010.

International Trade, Microeconometrics, Two-Sided Markets, Competition Regulations
