Dr Konstantina Spanaki
Lecturer in Information Management
Konstantina joined Loughborough University in 2017 as a Lecturer in Information Management. Prior to this appointment, she was a Research Associate at Imperial College London, where she worked on joint projects between the Business School and the Department of Computing. During these projects, she studied the adoption of security services in cloud environments (for the EPSRC grant: Cloud Intelligent Protection at Runtime CIPaRT) and the value aspects of data resources and the supply chains formed around them (for the EPSRC grant "Catalyzing Economic Growth: Releasing the Value of Big Data").
Topics in her research agenda mostly focus on Data and Information Management, Information Systems (IS), Business Integration, Technology Adoption as well as IS Auditing and IS Security Awareness.
Konstantina holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Computing from Brunel University London, an M.Sc. in Information Systems and Management from Warwick Business School and a B.Sc. (Joint Hons.) in Business Administration and MIS from Athens University of Economics and Business.
