Andrew joined the School of Business and Economics in September 2012 as a Research Associate for the Centre for Global Sourcing and Services, before moving into his current role as Lecturer in Human Resource Management. Andrew gained his PhD in ‘Professionals, CPD and Employability’ from Loughborough University in 2004.
Andrew has 20 years’ experience of academic leadership, teaching and programme leadership at University level.
Prior to joining the School, Andrew was Reader in Management at the University of Derby and Programme Leader for part-time MA and PG programmes for Management of Human Resources at De Montfort University Business School. Andrew has also been involved in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as a regional committee member and was Chair of the Employability Special Interest Group (SIG) for the Society for Research in Higher Education. Andrew is actively involved in consultancy, currently working with Universities UK's 'Efficiency Exchange' project.
